How to Lose 10 Pounds For a Big Date
The good news: You've got a big date on Saturday night. The bad news: That means you only have one week to lose some weight! You're probably staring at yourself in the mirror, cussing enough to make a sailor blush and wondering how to lose ten pounds by wishing it off. Better come up with some other ideas, Cinderella, because wishing won't solve your problems now. But don't fret: You CAN do it. Read on to find out how!
Water, Water, and more Water!
Yes, that's right.
You can lose weight quickly with water. The first thing you need to know is that your body retains water naturally. When we drink it in excess, our bodies let go of that death grip they use to stingily keep hold of that extra water. In fact, it's entirely possible to lose the extra weight in less than a week.
Here's how to lose 10 pounds: Drink a lot of water every day. By "a lot", I mean 100 ounces every single day for a week.
What's that, you say? You hate water? You're not alone, but there are ways to make it taste better. Freshen it up with a bit of lemon or lime. Honey is another way to sweeten the taste of the water, so do that if you have to. The important thing is to drink, drink, drink!
Eat Smaller Portions.
Did you know that eating more meals a day can help you lose 10 pounds quickly? Not 3, not 4, but 6 meals a day to be precise. That's right, you need to eat 6 meals a day. The thing is, they need to be much smaller portions than normal.
An example of the ideal size is 1 or 2 ounces of lean meat and, say, 1/2 cup of vegetables like spinach or some other greens. You do that and you'll be able to impress Mr. Hot Pant with the slimmer you.
But please, don't starve yourself! Make sure you eat, just use smaller portions, and drink that water.
You'll finally be able to slip into that beautiful dress by Saturday night. And hey, after you get home, why not dig into that box of Rocky Road?
